RECIPES: We do a lot of snacking on Easter. These are two great, easy apps that I am bringing with me to my folks and mother in laws house.

ASPARAGUS AND BRIE BUNDLES – Combine melted butter, honey and salt and set aside. Cut the ends of asparagus off and drizzle with oil. Roll out thawed pastry puff sheet and cut into squares and brush with your butter/honey mixture. Put parchment paper on a cookie sheet, put your puff pastry down, put a slice of prosciutto, top with asparagus, a slice of brie and fold in the center. In a bowl, mix egg and some water and brush the egg wash over the pastry, season with pepper and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden. Brush with more butter/honey mixture before serving.

HAM AND CHEESE BITES – Take Pillsbury Grands and cut into 3 pieces (triangles), cut three slits in triangle piece (not all the way through), put in a small piece of ham and Swiss into each slit and a little Dijon mustard. Put in a greased mini muffin pan and bake until golden at 350 for 15-18 minutes and then brush with butter and season with salt. Serve with your favorite mustard.
