Autopsy results from a British coroner show that Dolores O'Riordan died from accidental drowning due to alcohol intoxication.

The 46 year old O'Riordan was found submerged in the bathtub at a London hotel on January 15th 2018, just hours before she was set to record vocals for Bad Wolves cover of The Cranberries 90's hit "Zombie".

Coroner Shirley Radcliffe called the death a "tragic accident"

In June, the band Bad Wolves made a $250,000 donation to O'Riordan's children thanks to the success of their cover of "Zombie".
