After a series of setbacks, rumors of a cancellation, and mounting legal issues, Woodstock 50 will happen after all, with a new location selected. The anniversary celebration of the iconic music festival will take place several hours south of the original location, just outside Washington DC at Maryland's famous Merriweather Post Pavilion. Expectations may have to be adjusted for the three-day event set to take place from August 16 through 18. The venue can only hold about 32,000 people and the headliners may change over contractual obligations. According to Bloomberg, Woodstock 50 will be turned into a fundraiser, with proceeds donated to climate change charities and a get the vote out drive. Are you still excited for Woodstock 50? What if the lineup changes drastically?
