Body-Cam Footage Shows Cops Mocking Dallas Man as He Dies

Tony Timpa's death has already been ruled a homicide by a Dallas County medical examiner and now newly-released body-cam footage shows officers mocking him as they pinned him down as he became unconscious. The footage shows that the officers never checked to see if Timpa was breathing. Timpa actually called 911 for help from an adult store parking lot, telling the officers that he suffered schizophrenia and hadn't taken his medication. After being pinned on the ground with his face in the grass for 14 minutes, Timpa died. The officers can be seen and heard joking about waking Timpa up for school with comments like "But, mom, I don't want to go to school." Another officer said "I hope I didn't kill him" as Timpa's body was taken by ambulance. An autopsy revealed Timpa was high on cocaine. All three officers in the incident had their misdemeanor charges of deadly conduct dropped in 2017 but the family continues their lawsuit. "He was expecting someone to help him, instead they killed him", Timpa's mother told CBS. Do you think the charges should have been dropped against the officers?
