Patriots rookie cornerback Joejuan Williams was arrested in Tennessee on Friday.
Williams was originally pulled over for speeding but a search of his car revealed a controlled substance, unprescribed prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
The cornerback was chosen by the Patriots from Vanderbilt University as the 45th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft.
