Since we are all required to wear masks, has anyone been thinking about sporting a Darth Vader, Storm Trooper, or Kylo Ren mask? If you have, or have access to a 3D printer, MAKE ONE! This video shows you the basics. You just have to add in the supports so it actually, you know, protects you.
Anyways....light week this week as most are still hungover from Star Wars Day this past week. With that, let's geek out!
Over, the Clone Wars Are
We've heard this line before, but after watching the finale episode, there is that feeling that this is the end to the series that showed us how Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Jedi, and the Clones became legends in the Galaxy. The final episode is on Disney+ and was released this past Monday, May 4th. Fitting.
Got to say, the final scene was well executed.
but wait! There's more Star Wars movies and other stuff coming!
Returning To The Galaxy
I guess sending Thor into space at the end of Thor: Ragnorok gave Taika Waititi the in over at LucasFilm to dabble with The Mandlorian which then paid off because now the the JoJo Rabbit and What We Do In The Shadows writer and director has his hands on a Star Wars film. That's all we know right now. Just be excited that this man has his hands on the project over JJ Abrams. The Rise of Skywalker was terrible. I liked my theory better. I'll have a link to that at the end of this issue.
Cage The Kitty
There's going to be a series?! What the....
Did anyone have Nicolas Cage in their casting pool? I don't see why we need a whole series with a cast when the production team who filmed Tiger King probably have loads and LOADS of footage to use to create a sequel documentary. No word on when this series will start production.
Gollum Reads
With Venom: There Will Be Carnage and The Batman production being shut down due to COVID-19, Andy Sirkus has some free times on his hands. By the time you read about this event, it may be over since it was scheduled for Friday, May 8th. If you can catch it, it's in the tweet below. However, there is a go-fund-me. Don't forget to check out the Geek Freak of the Week Podcast! I tossed in the issue with the theory for how Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker could have gone. Yeah, I wish this happened. Oh well.
