Welcome Back The Animaniacs In The Latest Geek Freak of the Week

Welcome geeks, nerds, dorks, and everything in between! You've made it through another week and there was plenty of geek gossip and nerd news to go around. Here are some of the top stories that happened this week.

Enter the DC Fandome

It's like Comic-Con part 2. At least that's what I think this is. DC Comics is launching a 24 hour event on August 22nd called the DC Fandome. What will happen? Trailers? Cast interviews? A real life Batman vs Superman showdown? Who knows at this point. To better explain things, here is a trailer.

New Movie and New Logo

Here's a quick look at the new and bright movie logo for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad which is currently set to arrive in theaters August 6, 2021. This further proves to me that a teaser will be released on August 22nd at DC Fandome. What do you think of the logo?

The Boys Are Here, Again.

Lock it, punch it, and f-it. Check out the full length trailer for our favorite superhero hunters The Boys. The first 3 episodes will be released on September 4th and then released every Friday until the end of the season on Amazon Prime Video.

Honor To Us All?

After being moved over and over again, the suits over at Disney have finally decided what to do with their live action Mulan movie. You can catch the 1998 remake on Disney+... but for the price of $29.99. What about if you already have a Disney+ subscription? Sorry, you will still need to pay the $29.99 fee to see this movie. If you think the price is high you're not alone. When Universal Studios released Trolls: World Tour on-demand the cost was $19.99.

Mulan is set to be released on Disney+ September 4th.

Helllloooo Nurse!

Remember the Warner Siblings Yakko, Wacko, and Dot? They're getting released from the Warner Brothers Water Tower and being set loose once again. This time on Hulu. Wait, Hulu? That's owned by Disney and these are Warner Brothers characters. Yeah, I don't get it either. Expect this revival to arrive on Hulu this November. Oh...and yes, Pinky and the Brain are part of this as well! Narf!
