This weeks issue is all about nostalgia. Are you ready?
To The Max
Here we go....Yakko, Wacko, and Dot have broken out of the WB Water Tower and running over to Hulu this November to continue their crazy series of Animaniacs
What better way to reintroduce them into the world? By parodying another one of Steven Spielberg's masterpieces.
and yes, I'm looking more forward to seeing Pinky and the Brain come back!
Getting Dangerous
We really are living in the "age of nostalgia". Arriving this Monday on Disney XD is the hour-length episode of Ducktales featuring the one and only Darkwing Duck! He's been on the series before, but this time its dedicated to his central story AND introduces Gosalyn and Taurus Bulba into the show. From the many clips that Disney has released (there are a lot and it's annoying) all things are pointing to this episode being a reboot/retelling of Darkwing Ducks first episode Darkly Dawn the Ducks back in September of 1991.
This clip shown, was the first and doesn't give anything away so it's safe to watch! Let's Get Dangerous arrives on Ducktales this Monday, October 19th at 7pm on Disney XD.
How Many Spider-Men Are In The Room
Another week and more Spider-Man news to dish through. We all heard the rumors that Spider-Man 3 (that MCU one) will feature both Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield along with Jamie Foxx coming back as Electro. This opened up many fan-theories about what the next Spider-Man will be about. A live action Spider-verse film? With Doctor Strange joining the movie all the evidence is pointing in that direction.
Sony, who as we all know owns the screen rights to Spider-Man, has come out and said all the news regarding more than one wall-crawler in the next Sony-Disney joint film are just rumors and not confirmed.
Would this type of film conflict with Sony's plans to make a future Spider-Verse films? Ultimately, Sony has the final say since they are paying for the majority of the movie.
And now for something random....
Before the wonderful world of computer sound effects, noises in the movies had to be made from scratch. Here is how the blaster sound effect was made for all those terrible shooting Storm Troopers.
