The Geek Freak of the Week Is Here! & John Cena aka Peacemaker Is Excited!

The Squad Has Arrived

Hey, LeBron and Bugs, move the Toon Squad over because THE Suicide Squad is here. Director James Gunn's version of a bunch of misfits supervillains is ready to save the world (I think). See it in theaters or on HBO Max NOW!

Venom is Back

Dropping this past Monday, the first full trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage arrived. Expect these two to battle (or....hide) this fall.

A Strange 2022

Another Friday and another day without a new episode of Stranger Things...until today. The fourth season of the hit Netflix series will arrive sometime in 2022. I guess Hopper has to stay in Russia and work a little longer.

Hobbit Time

Was it me or did we never expect this show to get an official release date? Amazon's long-awaited (and allegedly very expensive) series about Middle Earth will premier on September 2, 2022.

"Hobbit Day" is September 22 every year. Why not release it THAT DAY?! You can say what you want about Disney owning the Star Wars franchise...but at least the mouse and his friends know to release new material on May 4th every year.

Another Bad Batch

Speaking of Star Wars, the Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch is set to return in 2022 for a second season. The force tells me it will be on May 4th because that feels appropriate.

It's Turtle Power Time!

So, this is amazing. Straight from the Boom Studios crossover of Power Rangers and the Ninja Turtles comes the Power-up Turtles that were featured in the six-issue series.

This is all part of Hasbro's Lightning Collection series but most sold out very VERY quickly. Here's a link to purchase in the event some are made available.

Don't forget to check out the latest issuer of the Geek Freak of the Week Podcast available on iHeart Radio and wherever else you listen to podcasts.

Until next week, I'm Maz and that's the latest Geek Freak of the Week!
