Crawling Onto The Internet
...and broke records! Spider-Man: No Way Home has beaten Avengers: Endgame in most views on YouTube in a 24-hour period. Rightfully so, we've been waiting for it! If you haven't seen it yet (for some odd reason) here it is.
Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out this Christmas (as of now)
It's Crossover Time!
The last crossover we had was back in December 2019/January 2020 with the epic Crisis on Infinite Earths. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic (and the fact that Crisis was a very large production on both cast and crew members), there was no plan for a Fall 2020 Arrowverse crossover.
This past week broke that dry spell and kicking off season 8 of The Flash will be a 5-part crossover called ARMAGEDDON. This event will bring back former Arrowverse characters like Black Lightning, Supergirl, Mia Smoak...Queen...(what's her last name again?), and Ray Palmer as The Atom. Most if not all of those characters have either left or are leaving the Arrowverse.
Here's the official statement from the CW about the crossover:
A powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances and Barry (Grant Gustin), Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out, and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail.
The Flash will premier on November 16th at 8 pm on the CW.
Wait, Covering Up Is Bad Now?
The first images from Netflix's live-action version of Cowboy Bebop have surfaced and here they are!
But of course, there are issues. Whenever a live-action series of anything that's animated is always received with mixed feelings but I never thought in all my nerd years that this topic would be an issue. Most of the time, studios and series will take female characters and sexify them. In this case, the Netflix series will be covering up Danielle Peneda's portrayal of Faye Valentine. Some fans (mainly the horney men) are upset at this. The actor's response is 100% amazing.
The live-action Cowboy Bebop is expected to arrive this November on Netflix
Delayed...Again?!
I just...can't comment anymore.
