Ozzy Osbourne Says He Won't Fully Retire Until He's Dead

Although Ozzy Osbourne has announced a farewell tour, he says he can't see himself retiring completely.

Ozzy announced a world tour last month that will keep him on the road through 2020. Once that's over, he says he'll play select shows here and there, but not go out for anymore extensive jaunts.

The legendary heavy metal frontman will begin the trek in Mexico and South America in the spring of 2018, then appear in Russia over the summer. U.S. dates will be announced next year.

Ozzy was asked by US Weekly if he'd ever fully retire:

"Not until they put me in a pine box. I've just announced my final world tour, but I don't think I'll ever retire completely. I'll still do shows here and there, just no full tours."

Ozzy retired Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler last March.

His solo band for the next two years will include several longtime collaborators, guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
