BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Red Sox dropped two of three in Cleveland--the last two in the 11th--but they're back home for a while. The MLB leaders will open their final six-game homestand of the regular season with the first of three against the Orioles--the worst team in baseball.

MVP candidate Mookie Betts was a monster last night--4-for-6 with his 31st homer and a pair of doubles. He knows Boston's a talented group.

"All facets of the game--pitch well, hit well, run the bases, play defense. This year, we've been able to put it all together a lot more, and we have the talent, a talented group of guys. Together, we're doing everything the right way," Betts said.

Sox have 105 wins, tied for the most in their 118-year history. Another tonight would break the 1912 franchise mark, and also ensure Boston finishes with the best record in the sport for the fifth time.

Righties Nathan Eovaldi and Dylan Bundy will square off in the 7:10 p.m. start.

Eovaldi's posted a 1.38 ERA his last three appearances, including two starts. But, O's got him for eight runs in a slugfest in Baltimore August 10.

Bundy's 0-2 with a 4.38 ERA opposite the Sox in four starts this year.
