Maine Becomes First State to Ban Styrofoam 'To-Go' Boxes

Maine has become the first US state to ban styrofoam 'to-go' boxes. Governor Janet Mills signed the bill Tuesday, CNN reports. As of New Year's Day 2021, restaurants, caterers, coffee shops, and grocers will be barred from providing the polystyrene containers which cannot be recycled in the state. Meanwhile, New York and California have banned single-use plastic bags. Do you agree with the ban?
