Neil Diamond Leads 'Sweet Caroline' Sing-A-Long In NYC Restaurant

NEW YORK (WBZ NewsRadio) — Diners at a restaurant in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood got quite a musical surprise Monday.

Singer Neil Diamond gave an impromptu rendition of Sweet Caroline at Da Francesco's, an Italian restaurant.

The video shared by Neil's wife, Katie Diamond, on twitter shows the singer singing one of Fenway Park's staple songs.

In January of 2018, Diamond officially announced his retirement from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

Diamond, who was in the third leg of his 50th anniversary tour at the time, said that he would "plan to remain active in writing, recording and other projects for a long time to come."

It appears that while he may not be on tour, the 'Solitary Man' continues to sing on.
