1,000 Gallon Syrup Spill Shuts Down New Orleans Street

It's hard to watch all that sweet sugary goodness go to waste, but imagine THIS is the reason you're late to work.

From NOLA.com Article:

"A container truck started leaking the syrup as it was traveling east on North Rampart Street. 1,000 gallons spilled "causing a hazard for drivers," police said.

A member of the cleanup crew on the scene said the syrup is molasses that was going to be used to mix with livestock feed for food."

Everything was cleaned up in time for the morning commute.
