Dog Owner Uses Bacon To Find Lost Pet

When Kacey Wall and her partner Chris' dog went missing while out hiking on Vancouver Island earlier this month, the couple spent eight heartbreaking days searching the British Columbian wilderness for their beloved pet. Fellow park goers and boaters soon joined in to help find the dog, but they weren't having much luck. Rather than abandon all hope, the pair hatched up a new plan: cooking bacon, because, "What dog doesn't LOVE bacon?" as they wrote on Facebook. Sure enough, on day nine Beira emerged from the brush, a few pounds lighter but unharmed. Ever have your dog take off on an adventure of its own? How did you get ol' Rover back?
