Escorting US Coast Guard Cutter Eagle Into Portsmouth NH

Here's a quick video I made last night, while aboard a NH Harbormaster/NH Port Authority boat, helping to escort the USCG Eagle into port. What a cool night!

There were so many boats out there to welcome this tall ship, and there was even a flyover by a USCG Plane. I'd like to thank the NH Port Authority, and the NH Harbormaster Rodney Mcquate, and Del Record for the chance to join them on board. My buddy Doug Harrington was also on board for trip.

It was a majestic ship to watch - as she glided up the harbor. Pretty cool night, that's for sure -

There she is, waiting to enter the port...

And when she finally did - it was a pretty close call to hitting the underbelly of the Memorial Bridge!

I shot 800 pics -hahaha - so I didn't get to go thru them - but there will definitely be more to come -

Thanks to Rodney and Del for a great night on the ocean and river -
