Belichicks Death Stare: Too Much? It Absolutely Was....

I'm pretty sure this CBS Sports reporter had to be resuscitated after this DEATH STARE from Belichick....

I, like all NE fans- think that Bill pretty much walks on water, in all areas save one.

I've gone back and forth with Belichick's attitude toward the press. At times, I've loved it, and at others - it just seems so - unnecessary. So downright friggin dickish, that I think it's embarrassing for an organization. But - as of the last two seasons, I've just kind of accepted that it is -ready for it? - what it is, and it's not going to change.

He walked off stage at a presser last week over Antonio Brown questions, after he said repeatedly he wouldn't talk about it. Fine. I have no problem with that. I also have no problem with his non answer to this CBS reporter. HOWEVER- that stare he gave her, which would wipe out the planet Alderran- was completely over the top. Like, his eyes were stabbing that woman with daggers!

I know it's a little thing that only lasted a second or two - but if you're a guy with his stature- little things can be big things, and that lingering stare AFTER she thanked him was a total "FU"- and it was unnecessary. The reporter admitted she was just doing her job, so he could have given his non answer and been done with it. No harm, no foul. But that look?

Just asshole behavior from a guy I look up to.

Some fans will scream that "she had it coming", or "what'd you expect?" - and to that I'd respond:

I expect professionalism from the greatest coach the game has ever seen. And that stare was anything but.
