Here's some photos I shot over the Christmas break. Got to take in a blizzard just before the holiday up at Nubble Light. High winds made it a bit of a challenge, but it was fun! The wind was howling, left to right, and keeping the camera at an angle where the lens didn't get pelted with snow and rain wasn't easy!
Took a road trip up to New Harbor Maine to shoot a sunrise there. Gorgeous fishing village there, that's for sure. And after I watched the boats head out before the sunrise, I got to see this -
The moments you get like this, are the ones that keep you coming back.
And every once in a while, you get to meet someone like this little guy...
Little dude was running all over York Harbor and wasn't very shy either!
Up the coast further to Port Clyde, ME - there's the famous lighthouse featured in Forest Gump. But don't mention that to the locals there, they've heard enough about that damn movie! Haha -
And on my birthday, Christmas Eve, I watched the sunrise from the rocks out along Marginal Way in Ogunquit ME. Great spot...
And last but not least, you can never have enough shots of a lighthouse....
And you don't get many mornings more pretty than that. That's Whaleback Light off the coast of New Castle NH.
Hope you like em, and if you want to see more of my work, you can check it out on my website- www.kretchy.com
