My Weekend: A GREAT Show, Some Pics, Lots of S**t & A Grocery Problem

My weekend started on Friday morning- when we had The Adam Ezra Group in studio. They played some tunes and joked around with us and we all had a blast-

And later that night- it was on to the sold out Rex Theater where they put on one of the best shows I've seen them do (and they always do KILLER shows!)

Here's a backstage moment just before they went on with Adam, Corrina, Alex and their new (temporary) bass player Nash (who was filling in for Poche' who's recovering from surgery on his arm)

Oh yeah, and Valerie loved the show too!

And I guess I became the official Whiskey holder for this hippy while he sand Let it Be on a chair - barefoot! S***, man! I should get paid for that stuff!

Oh yeah, did i mention we hit Consuelo's Mexican Restaurant before the show??

Saturday morning I was out of the house at 5am headed to the coast to see what i could photograph - and I did get a couple things-

Mother Nature didn't give me much to work with, but I made the best of what I got -

And I liked the simplicity of this lonely bench along Short Sands in York...

After that, you didn't think I wasn't going to find any eagle action did you?

I was watching this male bald eagle (on the right) guarding a nest which most likely has eggs in it - and suddenly- the female (a much larger bird) appeared out of nowhere!

I never saw her coming! She swooped up from behind the tree and landed- only to take off a couple minutes later!

Pretty cool to watch!

I was home by 10am and started doing a little yard stuff since it was such a nice day- and I had THIS job -

And let me tell you something - I don't want to hear ANY cat person EVER complain about scooping a little poop out of a litter box again! (You hear that Kayla?)

Try 11 lbs of dog s*** from the yard from our dog Daisy and her friends that visit! GIVE ME A BREAK! A small little 2 ft wide box that has about 4-5 little lumps of poop? GET OUTTA HERE WITH THAT NONSENSE! Try scooping up 11 lbs, THEN you can come cry to me! haha -

Saturday night Valerie and I had a nice night out to Sonny's!

Also visited the new SportsDome in my hometown of Somersworth for the first time! Pretty cool recreation/sports facility that houses golfing range, several virtual golf booths, and three soccer fields and a track around the edges! Dropped by to watch a friends son play baseball! Place is HUGE! I think someone said it was the biggest in NE!

Sunday morning is all about the COFFEE, baby! Tried Lucas coffee for the first time -it's made in NH and it's delicious!

And lastly- I love my wife, and today i was reminded why we do groceries alone. We never do them together. The reason - that I was reminded of today- was that if we do it together -

WE NEVER GET OUT OF THE PLACE!

And NOT because of me! Valerie knows EVERYBODY - and stops and chats with EVERYBODY!!! haha -

She does so because she's awesome and loves people. I love people too - except for the a**holes, of course- but I look at shopping as a MISSION. I have a list, and I'm very tactical about it. I have the list on my phone and Im all business getting each item, taking it off the list, and moving on to the next. Pronto. Stat.

I'm goal minded and the goal is to get in and get out. It's not that I won't stop and talk to people, I do. But I also have a mission and it must be completed expeditiously!

Whew....we made it out of there in less than an hour, but I would have been out in less than half that. Maybe even a 1/4 of it. I'm all friggin business, baby.

Sunday night we had my Dad over, and Cait and Tyler and Morgan all joined us for dinner - so that was nice. No pictures though. Everybody would have had to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement if we did- so....there's that....

Hope you had a good weekend-
