Friday was a beautiful day and I finally was moving around better so Otis and I went for a small walk and then relaxed outside. Friday night I made a creamy chicken picata for dinner (recipe will be out Thursday on Cooking on a Budget).
Saturday was the Annual Pack 118 Spaghetti Supper. The scouts did a great job serving so many friends, families and community members. After the long day my body was drained so it was home to lay down with my feet up.
Sunday morning I went to visit my friends at MapleSaint in Deerfield. I grew up with these guys and I love my annual visit. The "shack" gets bigger and better every year with tons of great things for sale. Try the bourbon barrel aged maple syrup - so good! The rest of the day was bringing kids to birthday parties, baseball evaluations and cooking up some corned beef! I made reuben egg rolls, reuben paninis, and boiled dinner!
