Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the blockbuster trade between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, which is causing waves in the NBA. The Knicks traded Bojan Bogdanović, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick from the Bucks, a pick swap option, and a second-round selection to the Nets in exchange for Mikal Bridges.
Jason Smith: "Another incredibly talented Wildcat joins the Knicks! If you didn't go to Villanova, you're off the team. OG Anunoby gone, Julius Randle gone. If you went to Villanova, you're a Knick. If you didn't, I'm sorry, you're not a Knick!"
Mike Harmon: "It's really a nice feather in the cap for Tom Thibodeau to be able to say, 'These are the guys I can coach. They buy into the system I'm selling on both ends of the court. GET ME MORE OF THEM.' And the front office saying, 'You know what, Tom? Okay, let's do that!'"
