GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Corewell Health is introducing its first New Year's baby of 2025.
It says Daevon Jr. was born at 12:11 a.m. on January 1. He weighs 6 pounds, 11 ounces and is the first child of parents Daevon Sr. and ArNaja.
Baby Daevon's due date was Dec. 31.
Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital says it delivers the most babies in the state, equaling around 8,000 babies each year-- roughly the size of a kindergarten class per day.
