FLORIDA - Several businesses across South Florida will have adjusted hours as residents celebrate New Year’s Day.
For those looking to stock up on groceries, many supermarkets will have modified hours.
Publix and Winn-Dixie will operate with adjusted schedules, while Aldi and Trader Joe's will be closed for the day.
Fresh Market and Sedano’s will remain open with limited hours, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., respectively.
Whole Foods will also welcome shoppers with hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Retail stores in the area will have mixed availability.
Target and Walmart locations are expected to stay open, with Walmart closing earlier at 9 p.m.
For bulk shoppers, BJ’s Wholesale Club will operate until 7 p.m., but Costco and Sam’s Club will remain closed for the holiday.
Other retailers, such as Big Lots, will maintain regular hours.
Pharmacies and convenience stores provide additional options for last-minute needs.
CVS and Walgreens locations will be open, though hours may vary depending on the location.
