Baytown Police Seek Help In Apparent Murder

Baytown police are looking for a person of interest in a deadly shooting at an apartment complex, and they say they need help in finding him.

Police have been looking for 17-year-old Leondre Lynn since last Sunday, when a 25-year-old man was shot and killed at a Baytown apartment complex in the 3400 block of Shady Hill Drive.

Officers say they arrived to find a Baytown man dying of a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later when medical personnel arrived.

Now they say they'd like to talk to Port Arthur native Leondre Lynn, who may have information that can help investigators figure out how the apparent murder happened.

Baytown police are also asking the public's help: If you know anything about last Sunday's shooting in the Shady Hill Drive apartments parking lot, you can contact Baytown Crime Stoppers without giving your name, at (281) 427-TIPS (8477).
