Andy’s Attic is a nonprofit run by student volunteers at South High Community School, according to the organization’s website. Each day students at this Worcester high school, give their time and energy helping sort the hundreds of clothing items donated to the organization.
To drop off a donation, drive from the school entrance toward the back of the school. On your right, you will see two Andy’s Attic donation bins, according to the organization’s website.
Donors should fill out a donation form to get a tax receipt and a thank you card.
Net of Compassion | 674 Main St. C1
Net of Compassion is a nonprofit dedicated to serving people struggling with homelessness, substance abuse, poverty and other types of difficulties, according to its website.
People can make an appointment with Net of Compassion to donate clothes to Grace Closet, the organization’s clothing distribution program. The program provides people with clothing they can wear to survive the weather and to reenter society.
Grace Closet’s donation wish list includes masks, hand sanitizers, blankets, lotion, diapers, tampons and menstrual pads.
The organization said it accepts gently used clothing and shoes. But, it can’t accept large amounts of baby clothing or used socks or undergarments of any kind.
This organization accepts donations on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to its website.
SPRINGFIELD MA:
The Hartsprings Foundation | 266 Cold Spring Ave., West Springfield
The Hartsprings Foundation collects used and unwanted clothing among other items, according to the organization’s website.
Because the organization has a partnership with Savers thrift store, people can donate their used clothing at specific Savers locations, the Hartsprings Foundation said.

Suit Up Springfield | 139 State St., Springfield
Suit Up Springfield is an organization that accepts used suits to donate to people who otherwise could not afford to buy a suit.
People can donate their used suits — which should be in good condition — to the store at 139 State St. on Fridays and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to the organization’s website.
People can also drop off their used suits at one of the organizations' many drop-off locations listed here.
