Carlos Santana's New Year has started on a challenging note after a mishap at his vacation home in Kauai. While out for a walk, Santana took a hard fall and unfortunately broke his little finger on his left hand. His manager, Michael Vrionis, shared that the injury required pins to be inserted, and as a result, Carlos won't be able to play guitar for about six weeks. The good news is that doctors expect a full recovery.
Santana deeply regrets having to postpone his upcoming performances, but as Vrionis emphasized, accidents happen, and Santana's health is the top priority. Santana himself is eager to get back on stage and see his fans as soon as possible. He went on to say his fans' support and understanding during this time mean the world to him.
Due to the injury, Santana's eight-show residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 22nd through February 2nd, has been canceled. However, there's a silver lining for fans: the Oneness tour is still set to kick off on April 16th in Highland, California.
