An opening date has been announced for a Stuart Costco.
The project manager is planning to host a grand opening ceremony on April 25th for the store that's under construction just east of Kanner Highway, a block away from Martin County High School.
The 162,000 square foot Costco will include 18 gas pumps and the project includes nearly 400 apartments, along with stores and restaurants.
The project was first on the table in 2021 but has been delayed by lawsuits.
Currently the closest Costco locations to Treasure Coast residents are in Melbourne to the north and Palm Beach Gardens to the south.
