According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj is reportedly being sued by a man named Brandon Garrett, who allegedly managed her and filed the lawsuit on Friday, January 3. A warrant has been requested and sent out by the Detroit Police to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office on whether or not criminal charges will stand. Garrett claims that Minaj got physical with him after requesting him to come to her dressing room after her show. Garrett alleges she told him his "life was over" repeatedly and slapped him with an open palm in the face after someone else retrieved her prescriptions for her. She then hit his wrist, making him drop his paperwork out of his hand. This altercation happened back in April 2024, in Detroit. Garrett is suing Minaj for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
