Benson Boone absolutely loves when fans sing his lyrics back to him during shows.
The "Beautiful Things" standout sat down with iHeartRadio to discuss how honored he feels when listeners take time to memorize his lyrics and shout them aloud in the arena.
"It really actually is like one of the most addicting things like when people get up on the stage and go 'I want to hear all of you guys singing,' there's a reason for that. It is such a special thing to hear people singing back your songs because thats your baby. Like for car guys...that's your car. You know like for golf guys...that's the clubs!
He continued, revealing what his songs really represent.
"These songs are my diary, my life, my emotions, my feelings and when somebody else like feels that and puts that in their own life and that means something to them. That's the magic. That's what it's all about."
