Beaumont police have released the name of a man struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night on Highway 347, just inside the city limits. 49-year old Roy Dacke, of Beaumont, was a passenger in a car and was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman in the car. He exited the vehicle and was struck by a passing vehicle. Dacke died at the scene.
