Things got tense at last night's Delray Beach City Commission meeting as the vice mayor accuses the city manager of withholding information in the wake of a city fire truck collision with a Brightline train that injured 12 train passengers and three firefighters.
Brightline camera footage shows the fire truck in the middle of the tracks as the train approached the crossing, with the crossing arms in the down position.
Four firefighters have been placed on leave pending an internal investigation.
Last night, Juli Casale accused the city manager and other city employees of holding back information and ignoring emails regarding the driving records of firefighters and whether personnel were driving without valid licenses.
