Two arrests in an overnight home invasion in Rochester's Maplewood District.
Police say two men tried to force their way into a home on Clay Avenue, off Dewey, at around 3:15 Wednesday morning.
The residents escaped from the home, and both suspects were caught after trying to run away.
Police have charged 40-year-old Terraine Staples and 34-year-old Jeremy Hanks with burglary, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
Staples is a parolee and both men have prior criminal records.
Hanks was treated at the hospital after being Tasered by police.
