Christopher Harris, a former Vice President of York-Adams Big Brothers Big Sisters, has been convicted on child pornography charges in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Harris, who was also involved with the Littlestown Area School District and DreamWrights Center for Community Arts, was found guilty after a lengthy investigation that began in August 2023.
The investigation started when Pennsylvania State Police received a cyber tip about a file containing child pornography uploaded to Dropbox. Authorities traced the file back to Harris through an email associated with the account. Forensic investigators later discovered explicit videos on Harris' laptop, leading to his arrest on June 27, 2024. Harris denied any involvement, claiming his neighbor had used his Wi-Fi before moving out in 2023.
Harris faced charges of child pornography, disseminating child sex acts, and criminal use of a communication facility. He was released on an unsecured bail of $50,000. Despite his denial, the court found him guilty, and he is scheduled for sentencing in April.
York-Adams Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Littlestown Area School District have since removed Harris from his roles. The organizations emphasized their commitment to child safety and clarified that Harris did not have unsupervised contact with minors during his tenure.
