(Rock Island, IL) -- Ongoing construction in downtown Rock Island meant to attract new business is resulting in two more stores closing for good.
Theo's Java Cafe, and Spellbound are the latest to announce they'll close at month's end as the city's 8.7-million dollar downtown revitalization project stretches beyond it's original completion date.
Several downtown streets remain closed and the city says re-construction expected to be done last month now won't be complete until July.
