Lend a Helping Can raises money for 12 New England charitable agencies to feed the Needy and Homeless.

 

Ottawa County deputies take suspect into custody on weapons complaint

PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Ottawa County Sheriff's detectives are investigating a domestic disturbance involving the discharge of a firearm Thursday night in Park Township.

It occurred around 10:50 p.m. in the 3300 block of North Lakeshore Avenue.

Deputies closed the road for a while between Riley and Quincy streets and took a 32-year-old man into custody. His name has not been released yet. There has been no word yet on what led to the weapons complaint.

Park Township Fire/Rescue also responded to the scene. There were no initial reports of injuries.
