Bryson DeChambeau Stunned By Fan's Golf Shot

Bryson DeChambeau’s had a viral video last fall, where he hit a golf ball over his glass-windowed home and landed it on the green in his back yard about 100 yards away for a hole-in-one.

DeChambeau offered a $100,000 challenge as a way to kick off the New Year, giving a lucky fan, Jimmy Elliot, seven hours to replicate his shot.

DeChambeau thought Elliot had a shot but figured it’d take a while, predicting he might nail it after six hours of effort. The pro explained the ups and downs Elliot was likely to face, including frustration and physical exhaustion.

But to everyone’s surprise, Jimmy hit the hole-in-one on his fifth shot, less than six minutes into the challenge, with the ball rolling perfectly into the cup.

The moment was electric. Elliot celebrated wildly, grabbing his lucky ball and thanking DeChambeau for the life-changing opportunity. "This is incredible. Life-changing, man. Thank you," Elliot said, even joking it was up there with his wedding day. DeChambeau was just as blown away, laughing and saying, "It took me 134 frickin balls!"
