(Ames, IA) -- The Iowa DOT is closing two lanes in each direction on I-235 Friday, January 17th, for lane painting. The D-O-T says usually they do this type of work at night, but with sunny skies and highs in the mid-40s on Friday, the conditions will be right to make the paint stick to the surface. Closures will start at 9 a.m. and last until about noon. It could cause some traffic delays.
