HOLLAND, Mich. -- Holland Public Safety detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a 39-year-old Grand Rapids man in connection with a burglary.
They say Eric Joseph Cody is wanted for a single count of Burglary - Forced Entry. A warrant was issued for his arrest after about $15,000 was stolen.
The Super Hideaway Gaming store on South Washington Avenue had the window on its front door broken out on November 10. Trading cards were stolen by the burglar. Arriving officers determined the store had been broken into sometime during the night and the suspect stole trading cards from the store. The owner was who came out and confirmed merchandise was stolen from the store.
Holland Detectives said they were able to identify the suspect after locating a vehicle matching the one observed in surveillance footage on the date of the burglary. A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle and during the search many of the stolen cards were found.
