A Houston firefighter was injured while battling a fire at a townhome in the Galleria area Tuesday evening. The Houston Fire Department (HFD) reported that the fire broke out at 2668 Bering Drive, where the property was undergoing renovations. No one was inside the townhome at the time of the blaze, and no civilian injuries were reported.
According to HFD, the firefighter was hurt after falling through the roof of the home. He was transported to a nearby emergency room, where he is being evaluated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, and crews are now investigating the cause of the incident.
