Rob Parker: “I brought this up when his name was first mentioned with the Giants, the general manager and the coach are fighting for their jobs. It’s not that they can’t draft a quarterback like Shedeur Sanders, but they need to re-establish this organization and this team, and that’s why you go get a quarterback like Russell Wilson. That’s what this is.”
Kelvin Washington: “You have two veterans, one a Hall of Fame-type QB and the other being Jameis Winston...this is in response to a couple of things happening over the last few weeks, tried to get Matthew Stafford and then they’re in the mix with Aaron Rodgers...so for them, it was a matter of getting a veteran QB and a guy they can sell to the fanbase and the season ticket holders while they figure out what to do with that 3rd overall pick.”

On this edition of The Odd Couple, Rob Parker & Kelvin Washington reacted to the news that New York Giants have signed former Seahawks, Broncos, and Steelers QB Russell Wilson and how it changes the trajectory of the team in the near term and the future!
