Former DeRidder mayor Misty Roberts is sentenced to 90 days in jail for having sex with a 16-year-old boy while she was in office.
Roberts was convicted in March of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
The felony charges carry a maximum sentence of 17 years under state law, but have no minimum sentence.
Roberts must pay a $5,000 fine and must undergo regular drug screenings as well as psychotropic and psychological therapy after she gets out of jail.
