Well....the day that we all knew would happen, just didn't want to talk about, has unfortunately arrived. Stan Lee, dubbed the "Godfather of Comic Books" has died. The Master of the Marvel Worlds health was declining for years and he became less available for interviews. Even seeing him in the Marvel Movie cameos were getting shorter. He wasn't afraid to take on social issues in his work or be afraid to show the darker side of superheros. His imagination was inspiring and ground breaking. He is irreplaceable in our world. Back when I was in 5th grade, Bob Kane (Batman's creator) died, and felt like a family member died. Today, I have the same feeling. Rest In Peace, Sir. Excelsior.
