GameStop, the place for games, collectibles, and other amazing stuff is set to close some of their stores in 2020. By some, I mean 180-200 of them. The Texas based company is having difficulties with some stores being profitable and will close the "under performing ones" worldwide. Since it's not just the US, your local store might make the cut and still stand to sell another game or two.
GameStop was trying to find a buyer last year but failed to close any deals which lead to massive lay offs and started the reorganization of how the game store giant looks at itself.
If I were you, I'd stop downloading games and get to a GameStop and start buying stuff so your friends don't lose their jobs!
