Need A Break From Streaming? Here's The Geek Freak of the Week!

Before you do take a break, there is a lot to stream other than what's on Disney+. This weekend on Amazon Prime Video is the final season of Man in the High Castle and over on Netflix is the Power Rangers episode of The Toys That Made Us. So you have choices. But that can be done anytime...for now, let's geek out.

A Crisis Is Coming

Just a few short weeks away. Here's a QUICK taste of the big CW crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths has for us.

I know, not a lot but at least we get to see Brandon Routh suited up in the Kingdom Come Superman suit! Only a few weeks away now....

Titans...GO BLUE!

Titans on DCUniverse (you know, that OTHER streaming service) has been renewed for a third season! In the tweet notice the blue? That's not any old shade of blue. That's Nightwing Blue! After two seasons of teasing it's finally time we see the boy wonder put on his big boy superhero suit.

Season two of Titans is currently streaming on DCuniverse, new episodes are out on Fridays!

Greedo Vs Han AGAIN

Here we go again. We all know the "who shot who" theories in history. Who fired the first shot to start the battle of Lexington and Concord? Who shot JFK? Then George Lucas gave us "Greedo shot first" in a re-release of A New Hope. Clearly, Han shot first, but whatever.

Now that Disney+ is out for all our streaming pleasures it looks like Disney has changed the famous "who shot first" scene...AGAIN. Not back to the original, but now Greedo says something before the two bounty hunters exchange blasts. You can watch that clip below.

Why Disney...WHY?! Speaking of the mouse

The Itsy-Bitsy Spider Won't Be On Disney+

So you know how Disney has all of their content on the new shiny streaming platform? About that. It's every Marvel movie except our favorite wall- crawler. Why's that? You know, Sony. Since they produced the Far From Home and Homecoming they technically are not owned by Marvel Studios. So if you're looking to watch either movie, you'll need to do it the old fashion way and watch them on Blu-Ray.

Would You Like Some Tea or the Batsuit, Precious??

The rumors are now confirmed. Andy Sirkis is Alfred. He will be the latest actor to play everyone's favorite butler in Matt Reeve's The Batman that is coming to theaters in June 2021.

I think this is going to be one of the few films where he won't be CGI. Unless they add wrinkles to him. I'm excited to see him in this role. VERY different from what we have seen in the past and it will be nice to see him in a good-guy role for once. Unless Alfred turns evil...WHAT?! That be a twist...

Last But Not Least...

this broke on Thursday. We FINALLY have a look and date for the solo Black Adam movie starring Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson. Black Adam became the first champion that the wizard spoke of in Shazam! According to The Rock we will be seeing Black Adam start off as a villain then see him move towards an anti-hero story arc. Let's see what Billy Batson and the rest of his Shazam family think when they all meet up someday.

Black Adam hits theaters on December 22, 2021.

Don't forget to check out the OTHER Geek Freak of the Week, the podcast version. FREE on iHeart Radio App and on your smart speaker. New episode out this Monday.

Until next week. I'm Maz and that's the Geek Freak of the Week
