How To Track Santa

Get ready...he's on his way!

The big guy is all holly-jolly and ready to take the big flight with his reindeer in just a few hours. There are several ways to track where he is so you know to get the cookies and milk fresh and ready.

The first is with Google Santa . Back in 2004, Google created "Santa Tracker" for December 24. However, very day before that, starting with December 1, each day had a different game featuring the elves, reindeer, penguins, and even Santa himself. Some areas of the site featured ways to learn with coding and holiday traditions around the world. Did you know in Russia it's called a "New Years Tree"...yah odd. OH! Since it's summer In Australia many people go to the beach or have BBQ's, imagine those sexy Santa outfits.

Okay...back to the point. Google Santa Tracker would not be possible without the first one in the US. That is of course NORAD. The North American Aerospace Defense Command started tracking Santa in 1955. Kids would use a phone number to call a telephone hotline and call to ask where Santa was so they could be ready for his arrival. It was suppose to be a one-and-done type event. However, the following year, kids still called so due to high demand (and their parents pleas) it became an annual tradition.

Which ever one you choose, enjoy and have fun!
