2019 is over. We hardly knew thee. Actually, we will remember thee! 2019 was one hell of a year for nerd news and geek-gossip. Disney dominated at the box office with their collection of remakes, Marvel movies, and Star Wars to buying 21st Century Fox studios like it was just another task on their to-do list. DC had a great year with their sleeper-hit Shazam! and we got to see Godzilla become king of the monsters. In 2020 we have many more movies and events to see. From Harley Quinn's return in Birds of Prey to seeing the 80's again in Wonder Woman 1984. We also get to see Black Widow star in her very own film. That's all stuff we know. What about what's coming to our new favorite streaming service? The Mouse and his workers are well ahead of that. Check out their new sizzle of what's to come in 2020.

Lizzy McGuire is back! But, that's not the important thing. Did you see something interesting? Let's discuss....

WandaVision Moved Up

At first, the new series starring Scarlet Witch (yes, we can call her that now) and Vision was slated to start streaming in Spring 2021. After watching that little sizzle Disney made for what is to come for the Disney+ in 2020 WandaVision was included. This comes a whole year earlier than expected. Good thing? It's said that this show is tied directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which is slated to come out May 2021. So far, no change on that movies release date.

I think another important question is...where in the MCU timeline does this series take place?

Witcher > Mandalorian

So remember when Disney+ was about to be launched and many said it's going to take Netflix down? Yeah, about that. Looks like Netflix is getting the last laugh with this one. Their new show The Witcher, starring Henry Cavil, has become the most watched streamed show over The Mandalorian on Disney+. Even with the Mouse announcing what is in their future for shows I think Netfix may not be sweating as much as people think.

Hulk, Meet The Ancient One...Again.

Here's an alternate take on how The Hulk ran into the Ancient One while trying to retrieve the time stone in Avengers: Endgame. Given that Disney+ is pairing many Marvel characters in their own shows how long after watching this will the fan-boy & girls start petitioning for their series?

Wait...There's This?!

New Year, New Who, New surprises! In the New Years Day episode of Doctor Who, Skyfall, there was a surprise. Okay, okay, spoilers!

The Master has returned. But...how?! When we saw Missy die by the hands of John Simm's incarnation of the character we didn't see her regenerate. It was confirmed that she was indeed dead. So, is this version of The Master a regeneration before Missy? If so, that kind of creates a time problem. Then again, in 2007 John Simm's version of The Master refused to regenerate and "died" yet Missy, short for Mistress, appeared to take on the Twelfth Doctor. Will we ever know how this new version came to be? WE WANT ANSWERS! Of course, this is a show about a time-traveling police box, so really why are we questioning anything.
