Hulk Read New Geek Freak of the Week!

Another week has passed and we are here yet again to take a look at this weeks geek gossip and nerd news. It seems the color of the week has been "red" since we have two stories about that color and it's for both Marvel and DC! Plus, we return to a galaxy at war and a little throwback for all you gamer's out there. Let's dive in to the Geek Freak of the Week!

Seeing Red

In fact, Hulk will be red! Not Bruce Banner though. On Wednesday it was rumored then confirmed from the Comic Book Resources tweet below, Red Hulk will make his first MCU appearance in the Disney+ She-Hulk series. So if Bruce Banner isn't Red Hulk then who is? We've seen him before. William Hurt who portrays Thaddeus Ross, the U.S. Secretary of State, is the one who smashes as Red Hulk.

No word yet on when the She-Hulk series will be begin production and no release date has been revealed.

Seeing More Red!

So the color of the day is red I guess here at the Geek Freak. Jumping over to the DC world the man of steel will be getting the Elseworlds treatment in the comic book adaption of Superman: Red Son. This movie explores an alternate reality where Superman's space ship landed in the Soviet Union instead of Kansas. Yeah...whoa. Expect this crimson tale digital on Tuesday February 25 and then on Blu-Ray March 17th.

Return, the Clone Wars Have

Guess what's baaaacckk? The Jedi, the Sith, the Clones, the Droids, and more! Returning to a galaxy at war far far away is the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Don't expect to binge it, the final twelve episodes will be released on Fridays, similar to The Mandalorian. In between episodes this gives you plenty of time to catch up on the whole series! You know, if you have the time.

Gaming Throwback!

Remember these things?! We really are living in the "Age of Nostalgia". This weekend in New York City is the New York Toy Fair and the big toy company, Hasbro, made the announced that they have teamed up with GameStop to bring back these classic hand held games. Only four will be sold, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, The Little Mermaid, X-Men, and Transformers. The price $15 for each. I think we have room in our wallets for this.

Holy Batsuit, Batman!

So last week director Matt Reeves released some test footage of the next Batsuit in the upcoming film The Batman with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. Fans were split on the look but on Friday, some photos were released from a scene with a good look of the batsuit in action. Does it change your opinion?

More importantly, who is the second rider? Catwoman? Is she now in Batman's trust circle along with Alfred and the rest of the Bat Family?
