** UPDATED 4/4/20 **

So, we're all obsessed with the new Netflix series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness. Joe Exotic and others claims to be the "Tiger King" but that title was already given out in the 90's.

Sorry, Joe and everyone else but the Mega Tigerzord wins!

Ready for another Law & Order spin-off? If it has Elliot Stabler in it then the answer is HELL YES!

SVU alum Christopher Meloni stepped away from the his TV badge back in season 12 of the long-running drama but after a chat with Dick Wolfe (creator of the Law and Order series) it looks like Stabler will be called out of retirement for a whole new show in the Law and Order franchise.

Will he be meeting up with his old partner, now Lieutenant Olivia Benson over at Special Victims? You know the answer will be yes and SOON!

More Movies On The Move

It would be easier to just say that all movies that were planned for 2020 are being postponed until next year. Here's the latest:

  • Morbias is being moved to March 19, 2021 from its original July 31, 2020 release date
  • Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be resurrected on March 5th, 2021 instead of July 10th, 2020

Marvel Movie Moves

Keeping with the movies on the move theme, Marvel Studios has changed their plans for the long awaited phase four of their cinematic universe. To start, Black Widow's solo film, which was scheduled to come out next month, has been moved to this November. What about The Eternals? See the full list in the tweet below.

What's missing in that line up is the next solo Spider-Man film. Since it's a Sony film they decide if the date changes or not, not Marvel Studios or Disney. As of this posting, the third Spider-Man Home-series movie is still scheduled for July of 2021.

Piercing Towards May

This show is FINALLY happening! What was a graphic novel that became a movie is now a TV show and set to premier next month.

Two years ago at Comic Con in San Diego this series was announced and then entered into development hell until May 2019. Now, we have a premier date for May 17th on TNT!

The show is based on a French graphic novel that debuted back in 1982 and was turned into a movie in 2013 starring Chris Evans in between his shield-wielding gigs.

Don't forget to take a listen to the Geek Freak of the Week Podcast. Grab it on the iHeart radio app on your phone or tablet AND play it from your smart speaker!

This is a time to really get out there and support your local comic book shop when they reopen. If your store offers curb side pick up take advantage of it!

Until next week. Stay safe!

I'm Maz and that's the latest Geek Freak of the Week!
