Hello geeks, nerds, and dorks. As we step into another weekend it has been announced that the Clones are coming back.
No, no not THOSE clones. I am talking about the TV series Clone High!
Yes, Beavis and Butt-Head are coming back to TV but that's not the big news here. MTV's OTHER cult-like hit show, Clone High is coming back with new episodes! The series ran from 2002-2003 on MTV in the US and Teletoon in Canada. The show is a parody of teen drama shows such as Dawson's Creek, Beverly Hills 90210, and for the reboot, will most likely make references to Riverdale.
The news states that this is a reboot of the series, so will the clones of Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Gandhi, JFK, and Cleopatra be resurrected and return to Exclamation Town, USA? Setting up a google alert for this right now...
Disney + X
The X-Men movies (all of them) are coming to Disney+. You can now have your own fan-made Marvel movie franchise with the X-Men being added to streaming service along with the rest of the MCU. If you can figure out a way to make it work, let me know!
If You Thought Endgame Was Long....
Anthony Mackie (The Falcon...aka the new Captain America) has stated in an interview that his Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Solider feels like a six hour movie. Good thing this series will be released weekly instead of all at once so we can plan our bathroom breaks. Side note, Anthony Mackie also stated when Captain America: Civil War was about to be released that it would be considered for an Academy Award for Best Picture, and would WIN. Yeah...
The Boys Are Getting Technical
The Boys announced that they will return this September. Last week we were introduced to The Seven's latest member, Storm Front. In this clip that was released earlier this week we see Black Noir on the front lines...along with the corporate BS that goes on behind the scenes now that The Seven can serve in the armed forces.
Pizza Time
It's another year and another attempt at making a movie franchise for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This time around, Seth Rogan has stepped in to help revive our heroes in a half shell with a CGI vision for the big screen. The past films have been a blend of live action and CGI but the movies barley turned a profit so Nickelodeon and Paramount pulled the plug on the franchise they were trying to build. Going completely CGI is an interesting move. It's not exactly cost-saving but at this point Nickelodeon will try anything.
No word on when this movie is planned to be released.
Father of all Frosty
The leader of the Dothraki, the King of Atlantis and founding member of the Justice League, Jason Momoa will be adding the voice of Frosty the Snowman to his resume! I don't know why, but this really excites me. There are others on the internet that are conflicted. Nothing out there yet on when this movie will be released or any other cast announcements.
